Concerned About State Funding For Our Schools? Attend Tomorrow!

Governor Jay Nixon will be at the Columbia Public Schools Aslin Administration Building on Tuesday, April 22 to discuss Senate Bill 509 and its impact on public education in Missouri.  Senate Bill 509, passed by the General Assembly on April 16, would reduce state revenues by more than $620 million annually when fully implemented.  This reduction in general revenue would affect funding for education at all levels, including early childhood education, K-12 classrooms and higher education.

If you want to attend, please RSVP directly to and include “Attending the Columbia event in the subject of your email.
